Life today pulls us in many different directions.  Work, family life, social calendars, and the endless news cycle all vie for our attention on a daily basis.  We invite you to join us as we explore ways to connect with the ancient paths that have been walked by thousands of pilgrimages before.  During our time together we will introduce different practices that will help you to press pause, center yourself in the present, and connect with the divine. These include:
  • lectio divina
  • prayer beads
  • visio divina
  • poetry
  • Ignatian examen
Registration form attached. $30 registration includes lunch, snacks and materials. The deadline to register is April 1.
This offering is presented as part of the annual retreat of the Northern Illinois Synod WELCA (Women of the ELCA).
